1970s Pop Star Colouring Book: 45 all new images and articles - colouring fun for kids of all ages

De (autor): Kev F. Sutherland

45 fab images for you to colour, plus articles on every single act, by Kev F Sutherland, of Beano and Marvel comics fame. Paperback version. This has a blockbusting 47 pictures for your colouring pleasure, all original and drawn by me, with accompanying articles written by me. Who's in it, you ask? Slade, The Carpenters, Marc Bolan, David Cassidy, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Status Quo, Suzi Quatro, Dolly Parton, David Essex, Genesis, The Sweet, The Jackson 5, The Osmonds, The Wombles, Roxy Music, Pan's People, Abba, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Marley, Mud, Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, Paul McCartney & Wings, Queen, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Sparks, The Bay City Rollers, Thin Lizzy, Kraftwerk, Kiss, Donna Summer, The Jam, Elvis Costello, Ian Dury, The Clash, The Boomtown Rats, The Sex Pistols, Kate Bush, The Bee, Dean Friedman, John Travolta & Olivia Newton John, Blondie, The Police, and Boney M. Go on, who did we miss? The 1970s. Some call it the decade that fashion forgot. If you're of a certain age, and let's be honest that means over fifty, then you'll have your own personal memories of the 1970s. For anyone younger, it's a decade from history that can look baffling to the outsider. Some of us in Britain remember it as a decade of strikes and troubles, of rubbish piling up in the streets and a record heatwave, of the Queen's Jubilee and regular power cuts. Others prefer to remember the plethora of kids comics from Jackie to Look-In, from Whizzer & Chips to 2000AD, from The Beezer to Warlord, from Mighty World Of Marvel to Shiver & Shake, and many many more. The TV shows of the seventies remain the most repeated ever. You can't go down the TV guide without bumping into an episode of Fawlty Towers, M*A*S*H, Are You Being Served? or Porridge being shown somewhere. Of course there are a few, like the Black & White Minstrels Show, which don't get shown so much, which is probably for the best. To the grown ups there was politics, with Heath, Wilson, Callaghan and Thatcher in power, and Mike Yarwood impersonating them on the telly. To the kids there were the TV shows from The Wombles to The Tomorrow People, from The Clangers to Multicoloured Swap Shop, from Tiswas to Tom Baker's Doctor Who. Kev F Comic Artist
