Verna R. Jacobs is the oldest child of Bunyan Jacobs, Jr. Having the privilege to know and grow up with many fathers and all four of her grandparents, Verna knows first-hand the depth and levels of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that can be gleaned from elders. These principles have afforded her with a rich heritage which has been the driving force in creating this project. It is Verna's desire that this book show love, honor and respect to her father, as well as, provide inspiration and encouragement for other caregivers, family and friends who have loved ones with dementia.
