The majority of her peers deny its historical authenticity and categorize its contents as myth. She is not so sure she agrees.

The scribe of this age-old 2024 A.D. autobiography, Marie Steward Black, claims to be the survivor of a Great Calamity. She hopes the document will represent some part of a redemption plan for mankind. In her time, humanity has almost been overtaken by an other-worldly force that seeks to dominate earth's inhabitants with artificial intelligence.
