All Gnomes Speak Polish: (Bilingual English and Polish): A Dual Language Fun Children's Picture Book
All Gnomes Speak Polish is a charming and engaging bilingual children's picture book that invites children to explore a new language in a playful way. It explores personality, language, and community through a funny little story in English that rhymes with a whole bunch of cute funny gnomes! The book teaches a handful of basic Polish words in a fun, quirky way. Sequel to the beloved and popular All Cats Speak Polish! With an additional 10 pages of delight and twice the Polish words! In addition to learning several words in another language, children are also encouraged to see that each gnome is unique yet is a part of the same community. Many caregivers are also interested in introducing new sounds to their little readers. This book introduces simple Polish words through a diverse cast of gnomes. The book includes original charcoal drawings with colored pencil accents and a shout out to the Polish folk art called wycinanki. Her work includes three award-winning short films (The Hoosac, The Ruins, The Dam), feature screenplay Residue, short stories, and a book inspired by her family's immigrant experience. Her picture books include ALL CATS SPEAK POLISH, ALL GNOMES SPEAK POLISH, PENGUIN AND THE CITY, and KRASNOLUDEK: A GNOME TALE. She is an award-winning actress known for Zelda on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. B.A., Anthropology, University of Chicago. She lives in New York City.
