In dentistry, their application is widely analyzed in various researches, AI is particularly favorable in the field of oral and maxillofacial (OMF) radiology. Artificial intelligence systems in this field have been developed for diagnosis, forensic dentistry, and image analysis. Numerous amounts of data are needed to achieve good results from AI and it is a time-consuming task. With help of the numerous data sets, AI can be further developed for automatic diagnosis and treatment plan suggestions. Dentists' knowledge is a vital factor for AI development.
