Mattie McClane is a graduate of Augustana College, BA, the University of Louisville, MA, and the University of North Carolina, MFA in Creative Writing. She is the author of twelve books which include seven books of poetry. She focuses on the book-length poem. At the Edge of the Cities Burning might be her most powerful book to date.
