What a book! So different from what I usually read, crazy and funny, surprised me in good ways and made me love the MMC cause he is just amazing ��
Sloane & Rowan are serial killers who kill serial killers. They meet by accident - let’s put it that way - and decide to start an anual game to catch and end some of the most dangerous monsters in the country. This is the first step to friendship.
Every serial killer needs a friend, but between them, as years go by and with every part of the game they get to play, it becomes so much more. They are far from a normal person… I mean, who else kills with such a passion and at the same time has an ordinary job/life?
Sparks start to appear and for one of them it was love at first sight. They’re so alike and different in some ways and everything develops so nicely. It burns slowly, but when both agree that it was meant for them to be together, the fire is so big ❤️��
It had such a good writing, a catchy book that once you started you couldn’t stop. And once you saw how Rowan - the sunshine - was fighting for our grumpy Sloane, you would start shipping for them ��
I really recommend it, but check TW first cause even if it’s a funny read, there’s a dark side too and some subjects that are triggering.
Now that I finished, I have to say that I wished there were more chapters but I cannot wait to read Lachlan & Lark’s book, it has some amazing tropes ��
