Juliyette is an author who grew up in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio, where she faced the challenges of feeling unheard and unnoticed. From a young age, she turned to words as a way to express herself and find her voice. She developed a passion for reading and writing, diving into everything from romance novels and teen fiction to horror stories and psychological thrillers. Along the way, she competed in spelling bees, poetry contests, and short story competitions, nurturing her love for language and storytelling.
By the time she reached fifth grade, she realized that being an author meant having a voice that could reach people everywhere. It was then that she discovered urban fiction--a genre where the raw, real-life experiences and struggles of the characters mirrored her own.
What began as simple poems, often starting with "Roses are red...," soon grew into deeply personal expressions of her thoughts and feelings. She shared these early poems with close family and friends, but her dream was always bigger. As she honed her craft, she transitioned into writing full-length novels, capturing gritty, authentic urban life.
Today, Juliyette is the proud author of more than ten urban fiction novels, each one resonating with readers who relate to the truths and realities she writes about.
