Ian Johnston's other books include an acclaimed translation of Kafka's The Metamorphosis and Other Stories. Now retired, Johnston was for many years a professor at Vancouver Island University.

Nisha Kommattam is currently Visiting Professor in Comparative Literature at the University of Chicago.
