Gray, Wendy Jean: - Wendy Gray worked in school administration in East Texas and spent many summers hiking in Oregon, Colorado and other states. She helped build a trail to the Continental Divide and led backpacking trips in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. She often hiked with her sister in Central Oregon, which led them, in 2000, to research and write a trail guide to facilitate others being able to enjoy the same wild beauty they were experiencing.
