In Shabar Mantri, both (aan) and (curse) and faith and threat are used as Mantra aat means oath. Secondly, he can get the work done by threatening the Gods and Goddesses, otherwise it will get done by faith.

The special thing is that his (honour) is also fruitful. Honor means oath. It is not long since that era when the effect of oath used to be amazing and infallible. The gods and goddesses in whose Shabar Mantri the oath (path) is taken are the same even today.

How are the Gods pleased: - Just as a child comes and says whatever he wants in simple Shabar mantras, becomes adamant on something, in the same way a devotee gets pleased with his Goddess or God.
