This story is a short paraquel to Immortal Essence.

This is the covert journey of 16-year-old Deodara to the Annual Swordsmanship Competition out of her home country Erisland into the neighboring country of Karoush. While her secret goal is to meet and confront the nation's ruler, her exceptional skills at wielding a sword place her in a position she does not know is life-threatening and has nothing to do with winning the contest.
