Mr. Walker studied and meditated on the upper-room discourse of Jesus given to his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion. This discourse is recorded in the Gospel of John 13-16. John shares the most precious promises of Jesus that tenderly comfort and provide hope and instructions on what to do after his departure. Mr. Walker found the promises of Jesus to be most comforting and encouraging during his time of deep grief. He wrote down his devotions and have shared them with other grievers who have been blessed through reading them. He believes that the words of our Lord Jesus and his meditations on them will be a source of great comfort for anyone who have lost a loved one or is going through suffering of any kind.
