Our hearts are so often ensnared by sin that it isn't abnormal for a follower of Jesus-you and me-to either intentionally or unintentionally shift our faith from Christ alone toward another person, group, event, or possession. Yet we don't have to settle for this shift. In fact, in Christ, we're empowered to overcome the sin of shifting faith.

This book was written so that you might develop a spiritual habit of examining your own life for the symptoms of a shifting faith and then more and more quickly learn to shift your hope and trust back to Jesus, who alone is the source of all our spiritual resources and well-being necessary for a Godly life in Him. The sooner we diagnose the shift, the better it is for us, those around us, and our relationship with Jesus.
