Daanika Kamal, Lecturer in Law, Department of Law and Criminology, Royal Holloway, University of London Dr Daanika Kamal is a Lecturer in Law at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research explores the intersection of gender, law and access to justice, with a particular focus on domestic abuse and violence against women and girls (VAWG) in both criminal and family law contexts. She holds a PhD in law from Queen Mary University of London and has worked across the development, legal and academic sectors as a socio-legal researcher, investigating police practices, litigation strategies and judicial responses relating to gender-based violence.
