Johnson, Amber: - Amber Johnson grew up dancing and even dreamed of being on Broadway. Life took a different path, leading her to a career in medicine and a family. She now lives in Jacksonville Beach with her husband, two young children, and a golden retriever named Nugget. While her 5-year-old insists, "Mom's not an author, she's a doctor," Amber's creativity shines through in her book, Everybody Goes to School. Inspired by tear-filled school drop-offs, she hopes her poems will help children who struggle with school and bring smiles to those who love it.
