Three bodies have turned up just outside of Juneau. The capital of Alaska has no roads leading out of it, and FBI agent Ella Porter arrives by plane with the sinking suspicion that it might be a one-way trip.

Someone is murdering the most beautiful women in the city, hunting them down and posing them under the Northern Lights. The photographs capture the terror in their eyes as they die... And each photograph has a single letter written under it.But what is the killer spelling?

It's up to Ella Porter to find out what it all means before the killer continues his spree. But with no roads out of the city, and all eyes on her, Ella finds herself caught in the crosshairs, and before long, she's the one trapped beneath a killer's knife, fighting for her survival in the lonely beauty of the Alaskan wilderness.
