The rare delight of his brush has enlivened a long string of books during his seven years on staff at Doubleday, two years as art director and production manager for Clarkson Potter, twenty freelancing for at least 22 publishers, and twenty years at Easton Press as designer and illustrator. He lives with his partner, the distinguished watercolorist Wendy Hall, in the village of Leucadia, near San Diego.
