Su estilo de ilustración combina técnicas tradicionales de entintado con paletas de colores brillantes y enérgicas. Su trabajo está inspirado en su familia diversa y en observar a la gente en el metro de la ciudad de Nueva York. Le gusta crear arte que se relaciona a la cultura, la familia, la comida, el humor y la experiencia inmigrante. Cuando ella no está ilustrando, la puedes encontrar viendo documentales de crímenes en maratones y cocinando comida picante en su cocina.
