Klempan, Travis: - Travis Klempan is the author of the novel, Have Snakes, Need Birds, which received the Gold Medal for Wartime Fiction from Independent Publisher Magazine and was a finalist for the Montaigne Medal. His fiction and poetry have appeared in Line of Advance, O Dark Thirty, Proximity, Flyway Journal, and Bombay Gin, among other outlets. Travis is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, and the University of Colorado Law School. He lives near Red Rocks with his wife, son, and animals.
