Cordero, Alex: - This book Chronicles my 51 years of life experiences from an early age to present day 2023. I have observed and noticed massive changes, especially when it comes to the average guy. Society has made great progress but there's a downside to all this progress: The effect it is having on young males and their place in modern society. There are still "normal dudes", but that number is much less than 30 years ago. This book will share a variety of stories about my life, from things I have observed and learned working as a CPGA Class A golf professional to the 1000's of driving school students that I have taught in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I'm not a writer or an author and have not taken any formal writing classes in college. The book is meant to be written as raw and authentic as possible to convey my true thoughts. Many students comment on how I have no filter when I teach or speak . They call me "dope" and that I "spit facts and drop truth bombs" about things we talk about that are considered too taboo to discuss in our modern society. Because these sensitive topics are often left unsaid, many young people are unsure and confused about what to believe. This confusion can cause them to follow societal norms without critical thought often at the expense of developing their own authentic and genuine points of view.
