Morrison, Janet: - Janet Morrison holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History from Appalachian State University and a Master of Public Affairs from North Carolina State University at Raleigh. In 2001, she took a fiction writing course at Queens University of Charlotte. It was a life-changing course. She writes historical short stories and essays and is working on her first historical novel. She wrote a vintage postcard book about the Blue Ridge Mountains in 2014, and she published two local history books after writing a local history column for Harrisburg Horizons newspaper for six years.
