Karys, C. M.: - C. M. Karys is the author name of two Italian sisters, Chiara and Maria Elena. Their love of reading and writing started in reading classes with their American teachers in elementary school. As young girls, their love of fantasy was fueled by obsessive Disney marathons and the Harry Potter series; they have added Game of Thrones to that list. When Chiara and Maria Elena are not hunched over a notebook jotting down ideas for stories or hiding away in their writing cave surrounded by faeries and dragons, they can be found on Instagram discussing books with the online community. Chiara is currently a student at the University of Naples L'Orientale and Maria Elena has a Bachelor of Arts in languages, literatures, and cultures of Europe and the Americas.
