Pullapilly, Gita: - Husband-and-wife team Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly are award-winning writers, producers, and directors known for their intimate and authentic storytelling. In 2019, Pullapilly was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar. In 2016, Gaudet and Pullapilly were awarded the prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship for their work as artists. This Emmy-nominated team are known for their feature films, The Way We Get By, Beneath The Harvest Sky, and Queenpins. Prior to working in Hollywood, Gaudet and Pullapilly worked in television news. Pullapilly received her undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame, and her master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She grew up in South Bend, Indiana. Gaudet received his undergraduate degree from New England School of Communications and grew up in Old Town, Maine.
