'Breakthrough' is the first in a series of exciting, fast-paced, heart-warming books based around youth footballer, Jack Harvey. Jack is an up and coming teenager who is trying to break into the first team of one of the most illustrious football clubs in England.

His team, the Academicals (or Accies for short), have fallen on hard times and they are about to be relegated from the top division. Many of the club's best players then desert them for riches elsewhere, but this allows Jack and some of his youth team friends a chance.
