This is the autobiography of one of New York State's most influential Latino judges. Born in a small town in Puerto Rico called, Orocovis, and raised by his mother in East Harlem, NY, John Carro tells his story from humble beginnings to becoming one of America's most respected judges impacting the lives of many people and redefining the legal, educational, political, and minority landscape of New York. The New York Times describes John Carro as, "legendary Justice"; he was a judge for 25 years and was involved in many high-profile cases.
