Jeffrey Briar is a Master Trainer for Laughter Yoga University, headquartered in Bangalore, India. He is founder of the Laguna Laughter Club, the first laughter club in the western world to meet seven days a week (since 2005). Mr. Briar became a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher under the tutelage of Dr. & Mrs. Madan Kataria in Switzerland in 2005 and promptly began delivering basic "Leader" trainings. In 2006 he was appointed a "Laughter Ambassador"; he also became certified as a Laughter Leader by the World Laughter Tour organization. As one of the first Master Trainers for Laughter Yoga University (appointed in 2010), Mr. Briar delivered the first Laughter Yoga Teacher Training offered by anyone other than Dr. Kataria in March, 2011 in California, USA. He has been delivering Teacher Trainings ever since. As a spokesperson for Laughter Yoga he appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN-TV with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and Dancing with the Stars. Jeffrey Briar is also a college professor, concert pianist and composer. He is the author of 5 books, 4 DVDs, and dozens of short videos and other publications on Gibberish, Yoga, Music, and Therapeutic Laughter.
