King Solomon didn't betray his faith when he built temples for, and worshipped, Astarte. He was destined to do so!
Solomon was descendant of the four women mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus, Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba; they were all Astarte worshippers. It's understood that Bathsheba worshipped Astarte with Solomon. Tamar and Rahab are Sacred Prostitutes, who obviously worship Astarte, and Ruth was not Jewish which can only mean she worshipped her people's gods which would have included Astarte, and just the fact that Ruth is important in scripture is enough to know that she had been a Sacred Prostitute. Sacred Prostitutes have been walking along the Hebrew patriarchs all the way to Jesus, because the Hebrews were the last keepers of the cult of the true Father God El' Shadday. Most other countries had forgotten the cult of their Creator. It was possible for Divine Wisdom, and the Divine Presence to dwell as a mystery within the holiness of the patriarchal Hebrew scriptures, since as compared to the other patriarchal hero religions around other areas, they kept the Divine Feminine within the inner and secret devotion. The religions around Canaan which had not only forgotten the Creator Father but also stopped honoring the Mother Goddess were almost devoid of true holiness, only fear, slavery and abuse, constant war and thirst for power were present.
Ba'al Jesus didn't come alone, he came with his three sister-wives to reignite the worship of the ancient goddesses.
The Canaanites forgot their goddesses and kept them as decoration for their gods. Most of the Hebrews denied any goddess, but the most wise among them had the Goddess justified, defended, but very well hidden, not only behind texts, but also behind some absurd morality that needs to be broken everytime, and when a chosen one brakes it, his people receive nothing but blessings.
