Highlighting Leonilson's most potent and political works, made in the final five years of his life

Though technically a member of the '80s generation of Brazilian artists, Leonilson's (1957-93) most stringent work was made late in the decade and into the early 1990s. This exhibition catalog focuses on the "late Leonilson" works, his richest and most complex, before his untimely death from AIDS-related causes.
