Viviana Elena Rivero was born in Córdoba, Argentina, where she lives with her family. She graduated as a lawyer from the National University of Córdoba and worked as a legal advisor for companies and a litigation lawyer. She founded groups for the growth and development of women. She has been a producer and host of television programs. She published the novels Secreto bien guardado (2010), Y ellos se fueron (2011), Lo que no se dice (2012), La dama de noche (2013), La magia de la vida (2014), and Los colores de la felicidad (2015), all with great public and sales success. Her book Mujer y maestra won the First Prize for Historical Novel 2009 from the Government of San Luis. In 2011, she published 10 lugares mágicos de la Argentina, in collaboration with Lucía Gálvez. In May of the same year, she was awarded by the Legislature of the province of Córdoba as the outstanding artist of the year, and in October, the newspaper La Voz del Interior nominated her as "Cordobesa of the Year" for her literary activity. One of her stories is included in the anthology ¡Basta! Cien mujeres contra la violencia de género (2013). In March 2014, Y ellos se fueron was published in Spain. La magia de la vida was published in Colombia at the beginning of 2017, with extraordinary sales success.
