She decided her life would never follow their example because what if that nightmare life didn't happen and she ended up like them? At around 6 or 7 years of age, she overcame an accidental drug overdose from negligence... She was left with a babysitter who slapped her in the face so hard that her teeth bled...and there was no one to go to for help...this is where she became numb to her surroundings..
