How many times have you heard the quote "Love heals everything" or "Love is the only hope in life" or something similar to those lines?
When you look around you, you see all these people happily in love and singing poems about the wonders of love. And then you are confused about why you are not able to feel anything. All you feel is a pit in your stomach, a sense of fear and of always being on edge, but all you did was love, right? You did or are doing everything right, yet this "love" does not seem to be magical or does not seem to be healing you; rather, it appears to be destroying you by driving you crazy, and you notice that you have changed not for the best! My first book on Narcissistic abuse I started writing it in October 2018, just to share what had helped me when I left my husband after 10 years of emotional abuse. I had been researching a lot on the subject and found some great books online however I just wanted to share the scriptures and prayer plan that had helped me and a few other women in my close circle to get over our terrible experiences. Even though I had been divorced for 3 years at the time I wrote the book, I didn't feel ready to share my personal story. In this book, I will share parts of my story, not because I want to prove a point of how much I suffered, but I realize that survivors of psychological abuse share the same fears, and the purpose of my writing this book, is to hold your hand and give you the courage to face yours as I still do every single day to this very day. I am assuming that if you have arrived here reading this book, then you have already begun the journey of true healing and magic. God has directed our paths to cross at this moment in time and I feel privileged to help guide you in the right direction to find true healing and peace. Love, for sure, heals and is magical but only when done in the right manner. In the name of love, people can be poisonous and damage even the strongest souls. It is for this reason that love with a narcissist is bad because it is the wrong type of love. A narcissist does not understand love the way normal people understand it. Narcissistic abuse is high on the ranks of toxic forms of love. It damages and destroys the soul like no other, completely changing the way you look at yourself.
