When the three high school students meet Momma Kelli, little did they know that it would be a life-changing experience. What started off as a simple dinner led them on an adventure that was rewarding and fun. This fun and endearing story shares valuable life-lessons that the three captured to make their adventure obtainable and the difference that their efforts made for the student's at the O'Brien School for the Maasai.

While their experience in Tanzania was filled with hard work, they had fun, and created memories of a life-time.

This story is based on Mr. Roland "Spanky" Macher's experience with becoming acquainted with the O'Brien School for the Maasai. It was just the beginning to his ongoing efforts to provide and support the Maasai community, the school, and the school's founder, Kelli O'Brien. His passion for these efforts are ongoing and monumental for not only himself, but for this Maasai village.
