Welkin, Bella: - Bella Welkin has always loved children's storybooks; and, to this day, they are still her favorite! She wrote her first books when she was in elementary school using only notebook paper and illustrating the pictures herself with crayons. In high school, she began writing poems and discovered her love for rhyming words. She continued writing poems well into her adult years, perfecting her craft.
