Copeland, Alicia G.: - Alicia Grace Copeland has been writing for pleasure for years. While managing her husband's dental office, she published a monthly newsletter for patients which included timely health-related articles as well as essays and short stories. In addition, she and her husband conducted an annual Young Writer's Short Story Contest, open to students from K-12. Every student received a prize and winners received gift certificates to local bookstores and Barnes & Noble. Over a 20-year period, she and her husband awarded over $10,000 in prizes to students and teachers. In 2004, Copeland published her novel, Discord In Harmony, and began freelancing and ghostwriting.
