Di Mona, Darcy: - A native New Yorker and Yale graduate, DARCY DI MONA has been in Rome for forty years, working as a teacher and professional translator in the field of the arts. She has translated art catalogues, event programs, articles on architecture, interviews with artists, film directors and producers, and even the epic history of an Italian tuna company. Back in 2006, she started translating the catalogues and websites of what are now three Italian film festivals, while teaching English at several Roman universities, and until recently directed a translation workshop at Rome's Sapienza University, which produced Italian versions of André Acimen's marvelous descriptions of Roman alleys by night in Call Me by Your Name, among other fare.
