Wagner, Michael: - Michael Wagner is the best-selling Australian author of more than 90 books for children including the much loved, 20-book Maxx Rumble series (in print for 20 years plus), the bestselling The Undys series, the Ted Series, the So Wrong series, Pig Dude: He Can Do ANYTHING!, the CBCA Honor picture book Dirt by Sea and the CBCA Notable picture books Why I Love Footy, Why I Love Summer and Bear Make Den (co-authored with his wife, Jane Godwin). Before writing for children, Michael worked for ten years as a radio broadcaster with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, wrote comedy, and wrote award-winning screenplays for film and television.
