序《飞翔的乐章》 冰花
我和邓丽相识是因她作为《诗人地理周刊》海外主编向我约稿；和她熟悉起来是因她以美国西北华文笔会副会长身份邀我做新诗讲座。和邓丽接触中，她的柔声细语、她的友善温暖、她的细腻周到、她的善解人意、她的彬彬有礼，都给我留下了深刻的印象。在她身上，我看到了有精神信仰的人，内心的平静与特有的大爱情怀。
得知邓丽要出诗集了，我从心底里为她感到高兴。她诚恳地希望我能为她要出版的诗集《飞翔的乐章》写序，虽然此时正值美国税季，我工作特别忙累，但我还是答应了。
读邓丽的诗、我读出了她做为游子域外的孤独感和浓浓的乡愁。
