Throughout his distinguished military career, he was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas (9 years), Ansbach, Germany (3 years), Fort Carson, Colorado (3 years), Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland (2 years), and Hawaii (5 years). His service included deployments to Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.Rising through the ranks, Thomas served in multiple leadership roles, including Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Motor Sergeant, Instructor Writer, Special Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, Maintenance Control Sergeant, Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention Victim Advocate, and First Sergeant.
