I worked for Remington Electric Shaver in Bridgeport, CT for 10 years. I was laid off; after just purchasing my first house. I had my wife and two young children at home depending on me. I was able to find work in jobing shops, but they were dropping off. I decided to be in control of my future. I wanted job security and excellent pay. For over 30 years I have had; job security, excellent pay, and no downsizing, or out sourcing myself or my work. It's impossible! I choose a career in major appliance repair; a decision I have never regretted. I can live anywhere in the country and have a secure, excellent income; repairing appliances. So can You!
