When they were 14, Julia and Megan were given one piece of advice from Julia's mom they thought was sort of useful, a bit shocking and pretty funny. They asked her to help them help other teens with useful advice other moms don't usually say out loud. She said "no, nobody wants advice from your mother, you write it." So they did. When they wanted it to look amazing, they engaged their friend and super talented artist Tayvion Johnson who created the astonishing pictures that extend the story. Today, they all continue being teenagers now finishing grade 11, playing sports and music, going to concerts and festivals, working at part-time jobs, hanging out with their friends, getting through the drama that comes with being teens and working to maintain marks that will take them out of high school and somewhere more interesting.
