The Agony of Displacement: Testimonies of the Survivors from the Genocide in Gaza (English Edition)

De (autor): Nawal Halawa

A compilation of accounts by survivors of the Israeli invasion of Gaza, and other events associated with what is commonly referred to as the Nakba. This is a translation of the book that was originally published in Arabic, by Phoenix Publishing and Distribution of Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Nawal Faheem Abed Alrouf Halawa, the author/editor, is a novelist and researcher, and founder of the Arab Heritage House in Canada.

Ibrahim Sa'afeen writes:

"'The Agony of Displacement' is a new addition to the library of the Palestinian Issue, documenting Zionist crimes since the Nakba, before and after it, including massacres such as those of the Massacres of Tantura, Deir Yassin, Al-Dawayima, Kafr Qasim, and Qibya, as well as dozens of massacres aimed at systematically terrorizing and evacuating the country of its indigenous inhabitants, who had inhabited it for thousands of years, A spearhead against the forces of global colonialism and all the villains of the world.

This book is a living testimony and historical documentation of the genocide that the Palestinian people in Gaza were subjected to, written by the victims and spoken by those who lived through the barbaric massacre carried out by the Nazi Zionist criminals against children, women, and the elderly in cold blood, even with a relish and pleasure unparalleled even by the most sadistic and barbaric savages: Kill these human animals and crush their children and offspring so that no one can claim their usurped land.

This book presents also a historical document from the realistic field branded by the history of this racist colonial movement expressing the bravery and resilience of the Palestinian people, who have set the highest example of adherence to their land and legitimate national rights, at tremendous sacrifices."
