Could we walk together in a discovery of "witness"? I have tried to deal with biblical issues about witness in a way that would speak to people like you and me. I've hoped and prayed the "speak" would be strong enough to improve our witness -- to make a difference. You will discover this pattern over and over again: from Bible to everyday life.
I have written as if we were friends. I have talked freely about "you" and "I" and "we." Where an issue in effective witness has become a concern for me, I have written about it -- even, in a few cases, where the biblical teachings were more indirect than direct. Yet there are still other issues that need attention, but they will need to be saved for another day.
But today, a challenge! Let the Bible speak to me about my witness.
