Attorney Marc Jordan is suspicious of a tragic accident when bride-to-be Dolly dies at a railroad crossing the night before she is due to be married. The police are dismissive of the circumstantial evidence that Jordan presents, but events heat up when someone fires a shot at another member of Dolly's family. Jordan investigates on behalf of the railroad, and finds himself racing to unravel a deadly plot.
