I love this book!
Pur și simplu, Holly Black știe cum să scrie o carte. A creat un univers de care îți este greu să te desparți. Am citit cartea pe nerăsuflate, și aș da orice să o pot citi din nou, pentru prima oară. Merită!

O carte ce produce dependență, o poveste despre intrigi politice, încredere, trădare, dramă familială, înșelăciune, magie, dorință și cruzime. Totul din această carte, de la intrigă la personaje la lume, a fost complex. A fost interesant să vedem ce a plănuit Jude, cum a stat împotriva Prințului Cardan și cum a îndeplinit jurământul de a-l învinge pe micul prinț. Pot spune ca în urcarea ei la putere, Jude va obține ceea ce și-a dorit cel mai mult sau va pierde mai mult decât a avut. Jude a fost un caracter feminin puternic. Era curajoasă, deșteaptă, feroce și puternică. Ar fi facut orice pentru a-și proteja surorile și demnitatea, însă Jude este un simplu om, lucru ce o face singură și vulnerabilă. Romantismul nu a fost punctul central al cărții. Puținele scene de dragoste pe care le primim au fost acompaniate de înșelăciune, neînțelegere și trădare. Cartea (toata seria, defapt) este excepționala şi vă rog din suflet să-i acordați o şansă!
