In 1978, it's been almost one hundred years since Bartholomew Ka hung himself in the house he crafted with his own two hands; the only thing in life and death never to betray him. Haunted by the living, the occupants of his beloved Victorian house have come and gone-some more forcefully than others, with Bartholomew's ability to get inside their heads. In the end, Bartholomew remains. When twenty-eight-year-old Samantha moves in, Bartholomew thinks it'll be easy to be rid of this most recent annoyance.
