The Good Pirate is a story we can all relate to: wanting to fit in to be like our parents, friends, and people we look up to. For many, that means doing things that don't feel right. The story drives home the moral that we should always be true to ourselves and follow our hearts - even when that means being different, breaking free of stigmas and antiquated ways, and forging our own path to happiness.
