Joseph Renick graduated from Texas A&M in 1960 with a BS in Aeronautical Engineering and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF. He then served nine years on active duty as a fighter pilot with the Air Force accruing over 2300 hours flying time. After separation from active duty he obtained a MS in Engineering from Arizona State University and for the next 45 years worked as a research scientist with DOD and DOD contractors.
