West, D. E.: - D.E. West is a Deaf illustrator, graphic designer, creative designer, and publisher. His paintings, drawings and photography have been exhibited at national exhibitions and galleries, including the US Capitol and the International Photography Hall of Fame. West co-owns a book publishing and design company and resides in the Kansas City area with his family, a dog named Patty, and two guinea pigs named Poe and Percy.
