Everybody at Hallisburg Prep knows Cruz Delgado is totally off-limits.

But it's not like I care.

All the other girls may swoon over Cruz, but not me. For one thing, he has a long-term girlfriend. For another, he's my brother's best friend. Oh, and did I mention he's the most annoying specimen of a human to ever walk the planet? Sure, he might be a tiny bit hot now that he's all grown up and sporting six-pack abs, but he's still the insufferable pest who teased me my entire childhood.

So imagine my despair when Cruz and I get paired up for a psych project. And not just any project-we have to study the Psychology of Attraction. And a newly-single, down-on-love Cruz Delgado isn't exactly the ideal partner.

I hoped this project would help me figure out how to win the perfect Valentine's dance date. The last thing I expected was to start thinking that could be.... Cruz.

No way. He's still totally brokenhearted, and he doesn't see me like that. Or does he?

Either way, I can't catch feelings for the only boy off-limits.
